WPPDC Broadband Projects

West Piedmont PDC was awarded Virginia Telecommunicaitons Initiative grant funds in late 2021 for three separate projects. These projects, designed to provide near-universal broadband coverage, will ensure our region is positioned for success in economic development, education, and healthcare. WPPDC is partnering with internet service providers, including Spectrum, to construct these projects.
